Known as the the Little Las Vegas of Asia, Macau (Macao) is definitely a land of luck and night life. Most people go to this place to play but like other passionate travelers, our reason is to explore and experience it the best way we can. We are so blessed to explore this once a Portuguese-colony China territory three times in the last five years. I once dream of stepping on this land since college (because of Boys Over Flowers Koreanovela) and looking back, I’ve fulfilled that dream over and over again. Ruins of St Paul…

We’ve been to Baguio countless times but this is our first time to eat and visit Oh My Gulay in La Azotea, Upper Session Road. The restaurant is own by a known film maker and artist, Kidlat Tahimik and is always included in the list of reviews for the top eats in Baguio. There are two things to see in Oh My Gulay – its artistic interior and food. I wanted to consolidate both in this article but I realized that it will be long. And because I love their food more, I’ll talk about it here first. [caption id=”attachment_2370″…

I’m pretty sure that frequent travelers will agree with me when I say McDonald’s and 711 are two worldwide chains savior for us. Simply because these establishments has something that’s common to our place! The first time we tasted the burger in McDonald’s in HongKong, we didn’t like it so we settled for pancakes during our entire tour. The second time we went in HongKong, our dinner is kinda’ late so we took chance with McDonald’s. That’s only when we realized that their chicken tastes much better than what we have here in the Philippines. From then on, we made…

I’am actually craving for Vigan’s empanada and their vinegar (Sukang Iloko) so I decided to write an article about it (me ending up craving more of it! Lol). I remember the first time we rode an airplane in December 2007, we are heading to Laoag, Ilocos Norte, Hon’s hometown. That was also the first time I tasted empanada and okoy . After 5 years, in July 2013, we went back to experience Ilocos and to taste their other dishes and these delicacies again. This time, we stayed in Fort Ilocandia. The photos below were taken from our July 2013 trip…

I got three phrases to best describe our experience in Ibis Hotel, North Point — (1) value for money, (2) great location and (3) just what we need. Here’s my fair share of Room 1906 and Ibis North Point in general. It’s our 5th time in Hong Kong but this is our first time to stay in Ibis North Point. We booked for a Double Bed City View room (11 sqm) but we have been upgraded to the one with harbor view for FREE. And for us, that’s a +1 point for their service. Outside Ibis…

Yesterday was a long journey but it’s all worth it! Finally, after 3 hours drive, we see the Regina Rosarii in Tanay, Rizal (Philippines). The 71-foot Regina RICA (Rosarii Institure for Contemplation in Asia) Tanay, Rizal, Philippines My family and I celebrated the Palm Sunday mass yesterday in Regina Rosarii Institute for Contemplative in Asia (RICA) and we felt so blessed to be able to experience God’s love in this place. The area is so beautiful, surrounded with trees and flowers and really peaceful. If I were to do a recollection, this would be that place. Praying inside…
