The Man Who Traveled the World Without a Single Flight

Reading this article from Graham Hughes himself in telegraph.co.uk makes me remember this part of the song from Little River Band.

If there’s one thing in my life that’s missing
It’s the time that I spend alone
Sailing on the cool and bright clear water

I see myself as an occasional traveler and I travel for pleasure. I also would like to try traveling alone even just a back and fort long drive travel to Baguio, though. :P I haven’t also had a chance to spend some time alone and discover what the world has the offer. Yet, this man is different.

With his braveness, perseverance and dedication, I can’t help but simply adore Graham Hughes. With 4 years away from his loved ones and countless obstacles to get to each country of the world without taking a single flight is really an accomplishment. It’s just simply amazing!

Someday I would like to try it. At least going to half of he has visited. But I would like it to still be with the someone I loved most and best travel buddy, my honey and we would definitely would do it with flight, if possible.
