When I had a clear glimpse of the Statue of Liberty from the ferry, I asked Hon, “is She green?” He answered, “yes!” with enthusiasm. It was 10 years ago when I was granted with a 10-year multiple-entry B1/B2 U.S. visa but it’s only this year that I’m able to use it. I’m just glad that I’ve waited for the right time to explore one of the most notable states in America – New York! Because it’s definitely worth the wait. We bought our pass to the New York Statue of Liberty Pedestal & Ellis Island from Klook one week…

According to studies, Japan has the highest life expectancy of any country. And one of the reasons why is their meticulous way of preparing food. Their art of selecting good portions of food is something that we should learn and adopt from them if we want a happy, healthy and long life. This was our meal during our “Mt. Fuji Day Trip Including Lake Ashi Sightseeing Cruise from Tokyo” tour. It’s a Bento. Some sweets and veggies Salmon, Chicken Karaage, Tamago, Lemon Mixed Vegetable and Ebi Tempura [caption…

With so many Korean restaurants in the country today, we wonder what would be the taste of an authentic Korean dish. So when we went to South Korea to celebrate my birthday last March, we listed some of the dishes we’d like to try. And one of them is the Korean BBQ or the Samgyeopsal. You can find a lot of BBQ restos anywhere in Seoul (as in) but we’re just happy we landed in Hanam Pig House. The resto is just a few blocks away from our hotel in Namdaemun so it was not a hassle when went back…

Oh! Hello there again my blog! Yeah, I know it’s been a while since my last entry and I’m just so excited to start sharing our journeys again. I’ve been busy with a lot of other things but had managed to fulfill some of my greatest travel wishes. Can’t wait to share them so I’ll start with this one. Ever since I was a child, I always wonder how the snow looks like and how would it feel touching it. I believe this is the same sentiment for those wonderers who live in tropical countries. While this is not my…

Known as the the Little Las Vegas of Asia, Macau (Macao) is definitely a land of luck and night life. Most people go to this place to play but like other passionate travelers, our reason is to explore and experience it the best way we can. We are so blessed to explore this once a Portuguese-colony China territory three times in the last five years. I once dream of stepping on this land since college (because of Boys Over Flowers Koreanovela) and looking back, I’ve fulfilled that dream over and over again. Ruins of St Paul…

I’m pretty sure that frequent travelers will agree with me when I say McDonald’s and 711 are two worldwide chains savior for us. Simply because these establishments has something that’s common to our place! The first time we tasted the burger in McDonald’s in HongKong, we didn’t like it so we settled for pancakes during our entire tour. The second time we went in HongKong, our dinner is kinda’ late so we took chance with McDonald’s. That’s only when we realized that their chicken tastes much better than what we have here in the Philippines. From then on, we made…
