Oh! Hello there again my blog! Yeah, I know it’s been a while since my last entry and I’m just so excited to start sharing our journeys again. I’ve been busy with a lot of other things but had managed to fulfill some of my greatest travel wishes. Can’t wait to share them so I’ll start with this one. Ever since I was a child, I always wonder how the snow looks like and how would it feel touching it. I believe this is the same sentiment for those wonderers who live in tropical countries. While this is not my…

Known as the the Little Las Vegas of Asia, Macau (Macao) is definitely a land of luck and night life. Most people go to this place to play but like other passionate travelers, our reason is to explore and experience it the best way we can. We are so blessed to explore this once a Portuguese-colony China territory three times in the last five years. I once dream of stepping on this land since college (because of Boys Over Flowers Koreanovela) and looking back, I’ve fulfilled that dream over and over again. Ruins of St Paul…

I’m pretty sure that frequent travelers will agree with me when I say McDonald’s and 711 are two worldwide chains savior for us. Simply because these establishments has something that’s common to our place! The first time we tasted the burger in McDonald’s in HongKong, we didn’t like it so we settled for pancakes during our entire tour. That’s only when we realized that their chicken tastes much better than what we have here in the Philippines. From then on, we made…

I got three phrases to best describe our experience in Ibis Hotel, North Point — (1) value for money, (2) great location and (3) just what we need. Here’s my fair share of Room 1906 and Ibis North Point in general. Room 1906, Ibis Hotel North Point, Hong Kong – 2015 Click photo to enlarge It’s our 5th time in Hong Kong but this is our first time to stay in Ibis North Point. We booked for a Double Bed City View room (11 sqm) but we have been upgraded to the one with harbor view…

At exactly today – Valentines Day of 2014, Hon and I got to experience one of the most special Valentine celebrations in the existence of our almost 15-year relationship. We were in a cruise, watching the Symphony of Lights and having sumptuous dinner in Hong Kong’s Victoria Harbour. Today, I only got to write this experience and share with you. And as I always say, you can only capture the moments in photos and experiences are things that you can keep as memories – beautiful and beyond comparable. Errrrk! Enough for the sweet introduction just because it’s Valentines Day! It…

Part of our itinerary in Hong Kong is a visit to Cheung Chau Island. I have to mention “Biyahe ni Drew” again because we learned this place from one of his Hong Kong episodes. This place completed our list of things to do to have a laid-back vacation in Hong Kong.  The island is small but definitely has a lot of exciting things to offer. As a matter of fact, I don’t know where to start! For us, going to Cheung Chau Island is a breeze. Well… the only challenge is the long walking to get to the Central terminal in a…
