PAL’s PayDay Special

Posted by: liza on November 14th, 2011 in airfare

What I like about Philippine Airlines is that when they say it’s a SALE for a week, they really mean it! No hiding of real price and promotional propaganda. So if you’re looking for some real deal on airfare with travel period from Nov to Dec 2011, you might want to look at Pal’s PayDay Special first and then compare!

Is Cebu Pacific’s Seat Sale for Real?

Posted by: liza on August 20th, 2011 in shoutout

As a frequent traveler, I always want to get the lowest airfare. Of course! I heard and read in some blogs that there are some who were able to get Cebu Pacific’s P1so fare. But it’s been more than a year already since I learned this promo and I still have no luck on getting one. I know it’s part of the marketing strategy but I can’t help and be get annoyed. Sometimes, I could come across the sale fare (one way) but when I try to check the fare of flight back to Manila, the price is almost doubled, sometimes tripled. Argh… I’m not bitter but just annoyed because I’ve wasted so much time browsing their website. So I think I will only believe that this seat sale is for real once I, myself be able to book it.

I wonder how many seats are available for P1so. Maybe 1? If yes, then that sucks!

Bohol Explored via PAL’s Downpour Deals

Posted by: liza on August 02nd, 2011 in airfare

I’ve said this over and over again, I love flying with Philippine Airlines! Well.. in my lifetime, I only tried three airlines – Philippine Airlines, Cebu Pacific and HongKong Express. But it was only in late 2008 when I first rode an airplane and that’s when we went to Vigan, Ilocos. It was Philippine Airlines – very nice for a first timer.

Well.. this is my third time to fly with PAL. First was in Vigan, the second time was in Macau and this time in Bohol. We went to Bohol last week (July 27-29, 2011) and we’ve got the promo ticket from PAL’s Downpour deals. The price for roundtrip ticket for two is only P5,578 pesos with travel insurance. I must say, that’s an awesome price from PAL.

I’ve been trying to book that ticket in their Midnight sale for two consecutive weeks and I’m so glad that I got even more discount when I finally decided to book it during the downpour promo week.  I will share with you our journey to Bohol in the coming days.

Oh so much to share with little time to write about it. =)
