Known as the the Little Las Vegas of Asia, Macau (Macao) is definitely a land of luck and night life. Most people go to this place to play but like other passionate travelers, our reason is to explore and experience it the best way we can. We are so blessed to explore this once a Portuguese-colony China territory three times in the last five years. I once dream of stepping on this land since college (because of Boys Over Flowers Koreanovela) and looking back, I’ve fulfilled that dream over and over again. Ruins of St Paul…

Yesterday was a long journey but it’s all worth it! Finally, after 3 hours drive, we see the Regina Rosarii in Tanay, Rizal (Philippines). The 71-foot Regina RICA (Rosarii Institure for Contemplation in Asia) Tanay, Rizal, Philippines My family and I celebrated the Palm Sunday mass yesterday in Regina Rosarii Institute for Contemplative in Asia (RICA) and we felt so blessed to be able to experience God’s love in this place. The area is so beautiful, surrounded with trees and flowers and really peaceful. If I were to do a recollection, this would be that place. Praying inside…

Three weeks after our trip in HongKong, we went to Malaysia to celebrate my birthday. The weather is hot but not humid. The feel did not surprise us since it’s expected and Philippines has also the same temperature. It’s our first time in Malaysia and we know for a fact that it’s not easy to roam around like in HongKong where you can rely on their MTR system. While there are available city tour packages online, we still decided to avail the two-day ticket of the Kuala Lumpur Hop-on, Hop-off bus. So if you are planning to go to Malaysia…

Cafe by the Ruins Facade25 Shuntug Rd Baguio City 2600 We heard so much about the Cafe by the Ruins especially the hot choco they serve. So we decided to celebrate our nth monthsary there (dinner) during our 5-day vacation trip in Baguio. At first glance, we find the place secluded because their signage is not that visible from the outside. However, we were surprised that there are many people inside when we arrived. The ambiance is nostalgic and romantic, I must say. Maybe because of the lighting and the wood structures. The restaurant is not…

We are booked to HongKong again on the last week of February and this time, we’ll be staying there for six days. We love HongKong especially during winter. Isn’t it obvious? It’s our fourth time already. It’s my Honey’s fave place in Asia. Anyways, during our last visit to HongKong, my boots gave in and I had to find a good replacement for it.  However, I did not find a good pair so I resorted on buying sneakers instead.  I’m actually contemplating on getting a Puma, the Steeple model (see image below) but my sister already has it. On Saturday, I will meet one of my dearest friends who is set to leave for Australia on the second week of February. We are very close and I consider her as a sister too. I felt sad when I learned that she’ll be gone in a year or so because we only have few meet ups last year. We will be going out on a movie date along with our other college friends. Later at night, she will be also holding a party in a resto with her family and other colleagues. I think I’m running out of time…
