With so many Korean restaurants in the country today, we wonder what would be the taste of an authentic Korean dish. So when we went to South Korea to celebrate my birthday last March, we listed some of the dishes we’d like to try. And one of them is the Korean BBQ or the Samgyeopsal. You can find a lot of BBQ restos anywhere in Seoul (as in) but we’re just happy we landed in Hanam Pig House. The resto is just a few blocks away from our hotel in Namdaemun so it was not a hassle when went back…

I’m pretty sure that frequent travelers will agree with me when I say McDonald’s and 711 are two worldwide chains savior for us. Simply because these establishments has something that’s common to our place! The first time we tasted the burger in McDonald’s in HongKong, we didn’t like it so we settled for pancakes during our entire tour. The second time we went in HongKong, our dinner is kinda’ late so we took chance with McDonald’s. That’s only when we realized that their chicken tastes much better than what we have here in the Philippines. From then on, we made…

We used to hire agencies to book our hotels and airlines during our past tours. As time goes by, we learned so many things about preparing things for ourselves and how we want these things get done. I’m an engineer and a frequent traveler but with all honesty, I have not formulated a way to pack my things like this one. It’s just simply awesome but I’m not sure if I could do it with the types of clothes I’ll be bringing in our upcoming travel — in HongKong again! Anyways, this is a post in Facebook and I would like to give credit to the “Wonderful Engineering” page for sharing.

I’ve been to Tagaytay numerous times already but I never had the chance to personally see the beauty of Taal Volcano up close – an active volcano that is still open for tourists (no worries, it’s being monitored by PhiVolcs) until last Sunday.  We celebrated the birthday of my brother-in-law in Leynes Resort (where my Tatay usually bring his guests from abroad).  At first, I’m a bit hesitant to go since I don’t prefer walking under the strong ray of sun (who does?).  Plus, I was also told that we will consume 30-45 minutes walk just to reach the Taal…
