Hon’s clan is from Ilocos Norte and he always tell me stories about this place. Until in December 2007, we decided to visit their place for a 3-day vacation. We stayed in Palazzo De Laoag. It was a pleasant stay but not Hon’s most sought after hotel. He wanted to stay in Fort Ilocandia but we just can’t afford it during that time. After almost 6 years, we decided to comeback but this time we made sure to stay in Fort Ilocandia Resort and Casino. It was, so far the biggest hotel/resort we’ve ever stayed on. It was our home…

It was Hon’s birthday yesterday, July 21. I can’t remember when was the last time we celebrated it together so I made sure that this time, it will be memorable. Aside from the gifts which I shared to my Instagram and Twitter, I also planned for a special dinner feast for both of us. Hon has never tried Eat-All-You-Can here in Manila so I guess this is something worth remembering. Originally, I planned for Vikings in MOA (Mall of Asia) or Yakimix in Greenbelt but last minute, we have decided to pursue our reservations at Vikings, The Block – SM…

Hon and I both love Japanese food. After being fed up with Teriyaki Boy’s ramen and gyoza in the previous months since we discover it in Robinsons, Puerto Prinsesa, Hon finally gave in to try other Japanese restaurants. Last week we tried, Red Kimono in Glorietta, Makati and last night at Sumo Sam. In this post, as its title implies, I’ll share with you some of the food we’ve tried in Sumo Sam at SM North Esda – The Block. While waiting for our food, I took a pic of the chopsticks and tissue so to ease the boredom a…

As mentioned in my previous post about our Chalet Baguio Experience, we did hotel hopping in Baguio City, Philippines during our 5 days vacation last April 2013. The Golden Pine Hotel is the second hotel that we stayed on. Originally, we are booked for just one night but since I got fever on our 4th day we have decided to extend for one more night. It was a pleasant stay, though. The Golden Pine Hotel is very accessible as it is situated near Burnham Park and Cafe by the Ruins, one of the restaurants we went to. Roaming around the…

Yesterday, after a few hours of shopping in Greenhills and a relaxing massage by the visually impaired masseurs, my family and I headed to Banaue Quezon City for a delightful eat all you can desserts at Love Desserts. I learned about “Love Desserts” while searching for “eat all you can restaurants in Quezon City” last Thursday for the Father’s Day celebration on June 16. I stumbled upon several blog posts and became so interested that I immediately shared this new discovery to my family who also loves to eat! And now… I’m writing the story! We arrived in Love Desserts…
